BoostCon 2012

About Boost.org and the Boost Libraries

Boost is a development group creating free software libraries suitable for inclusion in the C++ standard. [1] Boost libraries cover a wide range of domains, from concurrency to numerics to language interoperability. The Boost libraries, many of which have passed through the C++ standardization process, have become widely known as an industry standard for design and implementation quality, robustness, and re-usability.

Boostpro is comprised of C++ library authors, moderators, and founding members. That leaves us uniquely qualified to apply Boost’s advanced techniques in your software, develop libraries targeted at Boost and/or incorporation into the ISO C++ standard, and to deliver courses in Boost and advanced C++ to your development teams.

[1] These libraries are collectively known as “the Boost libraries,” or simply “Boost.”
